🌼Father’s day🌼
Bangladesh, Japan, Philippines, UK, US ; The third Sunday of June.
Australia ; The first Sunday of September.
We already celebrate many national and public holidays in the first half of the year. So, if Father’s Day was held in the first half of the year, Dads wouldn’t get such a big celebration.
We’re in the southern hemisphere, so if we celebrated Father’s Day at the same time as other countries, it would fall during winter. Celebrating Father’s Day in spring allows families to enjoy our beautiful parks with their Dads.
If we celebrated Father’s Day in June, it would be less than a month from Mother’s Day, and Mother’s Day might overshadow it.
